
On September 2nd, 1998, Swissair Flight 111 plummeted into the sea off
Nova Scotia while en route from New York to Geneva. All 229 people on
board were killed. In May of this year, Canada's Transportation Safety
Board published its final conclusions from an investigation that took
more than four years and cost $30 million.
