Nature "The Cheetah Orphans"
cheetah & Simon KingAt just four weeks old, cheetah pups Toki and Sambu were orphaned when their mother was killed by a lion. Shortly after, wildlife filmmaker Simon King brought them to a sanctuary in northern Kenya, where he would become their new parent. From bottle-feeding to guiding them on their early hunting forays, King hand-reared the brothers and became deeply attached to them in the process. Toki and Sambu's life under King's care is shown by turns uplifting and heartbreaking, and unfolding amid the stunning vistas of Kenya's wildlife sanctuaries.
