My grandma gave me a magic set. I liked it!

My brother, Matthew, was going to be my assistant.

My magic trick was called, "The Magic Curtain."

I said, "Abracadabra, make Matthew disappear."

I pulled back the curtain. I couldn't believe my eyes! Matthew was gone. I said the words to make him reappear but he did not come back.

What had I done? I called his name again with no such luck. I then told my parents. They were not happy. We searched and searched but could not find Matthew.

I then heard my sister Jessica on the baby monitor. I went to search her room with my brother Mark and there he was.

I gave Matthew a big hug and told him that I loved him.

That night I asked Matthew what had really happened. Did I perform magic? Only Matthew and I will ever know.
