At this time, we pay tribute to Samuel Frankel, who passed away on April 7th. Sam was a good friend and generous benefactor for Detroit Public Television and many other organizations that stregthen our community. His achievements, friendships, and support will continue to benefit everyone in southeast Michigan.

The lobby of Detroit Public Television's new Riley Broadcast Center is named the Samuel and Jean Frankel Lobby, in honor of their Leadership Gift to Detroit Public Television's Capital Campaign, Because Minds Matter.
