Michigan Voices of the War
Michigan Voices of The WarAround the broadcast of The War, Detroit Public TV will present several short vignettes honoring Michiganians who served in World War II or supported the effort here at home. Among those profiled is Detroiter Alexander Jefferson, a Tuskegee Airman who was presumed dead after being shot down over France, but survived a German POW camp to be liberated by General Patton's tank division.
