Nature's Last Great Places - in response to place

The photographers have been selected to reflect a variety of approaches
to the medium, including portraiture and photojournalism in addition
to landscape and nature photography. Their work is marked by a strong
connection to the subject matter and by its attachment to the emotional
particularity of "place."
Exhibit
In addition to the broadcast program Nature's Last Great Places,
General Motors and The Nature Conservancy in Michigan are pleased to bring
"In
Response to Place: Photographs from The Nature Conservancy's Last Great
Places," to GM World at the Renaissance Center from May 13-June
26. The exhibit features 144 photographs of ecologically important
areas from around the world and is free to the public.
